KitLocate and Yandex

KitLocate has been acquired by Yandex (YNDX: NASDAQ). The acquisition was announced on March 18th, 2014. The KitLocate team is joining Yandex and will continue to develop and market the KitLocate SDK and location platform under the KitLocate brand.
The KitLocate site and products are here to stay.
Our customers will continue to enjoy the best Location SDK and platform in the market and from now on KitLocate will be backed by Yandex, one of Europe’s largest Internet companies and a serious powerhouse of amazing products and top engineering talent.
To sum up the changes we envisage moving forward:
- SDK and platform are here to stay – and will get even better!
- Support – same great support for the same team – hurrah!
- Pricing – we have no plans to make any changes for now.
- Legal – there will likely be changes to our legal section to reflect the change of ownership. We will provide due notice to our existing customers and will update the changes on our site in as simple and clear language.
